The Special Boy Scouts of America Tennessee License Plates!
The cost of this tag is only $35 per year in addition to the normal cost, and $15 of that fee goes directly to help fund priority programs in Scouting like camp expenses and improvements, registration assistance, uniform assistance, training expenses, and other program items.

1,000 tags must be pre-sold before the Tennessee State Tax Commission will begin production on a particular distinctive tag included in House Bill H PC2. When the tax commission receives the 1,000 applications, with the appropriate fees, and a design provided by the organization and approved by the tax commission, the tag can be put into production.
The applicant will be notified by the Chickasaw Council for this particular tag when his tag can be picked up at the office of the tax collector in his county of residence. The tax collector’s offices will have a list provided by the tax commission of people who have already paid their fees and are entitled to one of the first 1,000.
Click here for the application and follow the instructions:

• Include a $35.00 check payable to the Chickasaw Council. Please write Tennessee State Tax Commission in the memo on the check.
• The $35.00 will be deposited in a Special Custodial Account at the council office marked Tennessee license plates until the minimum of 1,000 tags has been reached by all 5 Tennessee Councils.
• In order for the tags to be available in 2012, we need to get moving. We need to collect 1,000 applications and the deposits by March 31, 2012.
• Once this is up and going, it will provide financial support for many years. It is a great way to market Scouting, provide additional income, and...
