Tallaha District News 

Hello Scouters,
First I want to thank everyone who participated in this years popcorn sale. As a district we sold nearly $50,000 in popcorn! There are a lot of Scouts who will receive a better program thanks to this sale and our district leadership. 

Next I want to remind everyone that the Delta Merit Badge College will held at Delta State University on January 7, 2012. It is a wonderful program that will offer 26 merit badges and has hosted  nearly 300 Boy Scouts in the past. Please do not let this opportunity slip by. Also, please make a note now that our District Banquet will be held in Clarksdale at the First United Methodist Church on Friday, February 24, 2012, and the District Pinewood Derby will be held in Cleveland at the Our Lady Of Victories Catholic Church on Saturday, February 25, 2012.  January Roundtable will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the Shelby Library at 6:15 pm. Calvin Green will have a program you do not want to miss.
