Council Communications
Important note from the Chickasaw Council:
Official e-mail communications come from the Chickasaw Council on a weekly basis, via an e-mail with the subject line "Chickasaw Council News <that week's date>". At times there will be a need to send a special e-mail, and it will have the subject line "Chickasaw Council News Addition <date>". The sender e-mail address will always be from a Council employee, with the following format firstname.lastname@scouting.org.
In a 2009 e-survey, volunteers cited “communication” as the top priority for the Chickasaw Council strategic plan. This lead to the establishment of a Chickasaw Council Marketing Committee. The committee was and still is tasked with improving the overall communications systems. This committee of professionals, in the fields of social media, websites, and corporate communications, developed a Strategic and Integrated Marketing and Communications plan in 2010 in order to better serve our youth.
Please take the time to register for weekly e-mail updates and join the Chickasaw Council
